English Camp in Kecskemét
At the PEOPLE TEAM camps the mornings are spent with lessons in the pre-chosen theme (daily 2 x 90 and 1 x 60 mins). In the afternoons and evenings there are a variety of programmes, team games, competitions, quizzes and invited guests. We receive children and young people from 6-17 years in our camps. Completely catered means three meals a day. Fruit (bananas, apples, oranges, peaches and plums) is constantly available throughout the day and we provide salad with your lunches. We will take special dietary requirements (vegetarian, flour allergies, etc.) into consideration.
Every day, our students will take part in at least 240 minutes of speaking-based, intensive language classes (see the agenda). The participation fee includes the price of the textbooks and the teaching aids. Every group receives customized material in roughly textbook form. On the first day of English Camp every camper will sit a placement test. When forming our student groups every student’s age, standard and skill will receive particular attention so that they can be placed with the most suitable partners in groups. At the end of the course a final exam and a comprehensive assessment take place, which result will be certificated with a PEOPLE TEAM certification.
A taster the afternoon and evening programmes:
Slide park, horse-riding, arts and crafts, Eastern martial arts presentations, Camp Olympics, knight trials, service house, filming, treasure hunts, invited guests (Animal Cannibals, Gyula Böszörményi), trampolines, crime games, city quiz in Kecskemét etc.

1st round: 4th July 2010 – 10th July 2010 (6–17 year olds)
2nd round: 11th July 2010 – 17th July 2010 (6–17 year olds)
3rd round: 18th July 2010 – 24th July 2010 (6–17 year olds)
4th round: 25th July 2010 – 31st July 2010 (6–17 year olds)
You can opt for more than one round.
Accommodation:
In the GAMF Halls (dormitory) Kecskemét, 2 x 2 bed rooms, in blocks with bathrooms and fridges.
Besides accommodation and complete catering the participation fee for the camp (47,000 Ft/ person / week) includes the costs of the morning lessons and all the organised programmes at camp (both on and off site), 1 x camp T shirt and 1 x folder in which to keep materials obtained through the morning lessons, as well as the fee for the private bus service from Budapest–Kecskemét–Budapest. Should the camper wish to make their own way to camp, then we credit 3000 forint to their cafe account.
